He sustained me!

The past few days have been emotionally exhausting. It was so, so good and now I'm ready for bed! God sustained me and I made it through!

On Thursday I got to have lunch with the church staff ladies and then we got to meet the newest, tiniest member of our staff (one of our awesome ladies just had a baby boy). Time with them was wonderful. I always enjoy them.

On Friday I got to reconnect with my dear  college friend Lori.  I wish I had taken a picture. She hasn't changed a bit! This awesome lady had a profound affect on my life in college. She is the one who led me to The Lord. She showed me unconditional love and discipled me. Such a gift! We had a great time catching up. Even ran out of time!

Friday night and all day Saturday we hosted a conference at our church. It was called His Creative Presence and it was such a sweet and beautiful time. We had worship and teaching and ministry and prayer and fellowship...God spoke so much to Mark and I through the teaching and prophetic words. Words that confirmed things in our hearts and challenged us as well.

We also squeezed in a wedding rehearsal Saturday afternoon! The wedding was today and it was very sweet. Mark did amazing as usual.

This is a picture from the ranch where the wedding was held. Beautiful isn't it?

Right now we are just flopped on the couch and the floor watching Charlie Brown. Exhausted. Blessed. Resting.

We are supposed to start homeschool tomorrow. The kids have been begging me to start since last week. We'll see how long that lasts. I spent part of Friday putting together my plan to teach all three. It should be interesting!
I'll be blogging again soon with testimonies of good things God is doing with our women's retreat as well as a couple messages/revelations He's shown me lately. He's certainly pouring out in my life right now!
God is the God of our yesterdays. He allows us the memory of them so we can turn the past into the ministry for the future.

"I don't think you can explain how Christian faith works. It is a mystery. And I love this about Christian spirituality. It cannot be explained, and yet it is beautiful and true. It is something you feel, and it comes from the soul."
